Prison Island and Spice Farm with Lunch

The tour starting at your hotel after finish breakfast and greeting with our driver then starting driving to Stone Town (Forodhani) where is the entrance gate of the prison island. The Prison Island, also known as Changuu Island which is located in the western part of Zanzibar Island, just off Stone Town. It takes around 25 minutes by local boat sailing from the Stone Town beach to Prison Island.

The island’s main attraction is the popular Giant Tortoises, who can live up to 200 years. In this tour, you will get a chance to explore and learn the history of these beautiful creatures and also about Prison Island itself.

After finish the prison island you’ll cruising Back to Stone Town and you will take a car to one of spice Farm that found in Dole area. After arrive at the spice farm guide will gives you more info about how the spices are grown and uses as Local medication, flavor in dishes also see spices like vanilla, cardamom, nutmeg and many more. You’ll be able to touch, smell and taste the spice and herbs directly from plants also enjoy taste fresh tropical fruits on the tour.

Lunch will be at Spice Farm But it depend either before Spice farm tour or after spice tour it depend with the guest.

Also you will get the chance to join a cassava leaf harvest, make coconut milk, then a coconut tree climber will pick some fresh young coconut fruits for you to try it the taste. Also you will gate opportunity of purchase spices from the Local shop if you like.
