Arrival & Logistics
- Traditional Swahili Dhow Sailing: Experience the elegance of a hand-crafted wooden dhow. Watch our skilled crew hoist the sails as we glide across turquoise waters using traditional techniques.
- Sandbank Relaxation: Our first stop is a pristine, white-sand bank that emerges only at low tide. Here, you can relax under sunshades, swim in shallow crystal-clear water, and enjoy a tropical fruit tasting featuring local mangoes, pineapple, and watermelon.
- Guided Snorkeling: Dive into the vibrant coral reefs of Menai Bay. We provide all high-quality snorkeling gear, and our guides will accompany you in the water to help you spot tropical fish and colorful coral formations.
- Dolphin Spotting: Menai Bay is a natural habitat for both Humpback and Bottlenose dolphins. While sightings are wild and never guaranteed, we frequently encounter these majestic creatures playing in the waves.
- Kwale Island Seafood BBQ: We dock at Kwale Island for a legendary lunch. Feast on a buffet of grilled lobster, calamari, slipper lobster, and fresh fish, served with Zanzibar spiced rice and local sauces.
- The Ancient Baobab Tree: Explore the island to see a massive, 500-year-old fallen Baobab tree that is still thriving and growing today.
- Mangrove Lagoon Swim: We end the day with a refreshing dip in a hidden natural lagoon surrounded by mangrove forests—a truly serene "natural swimming pool."
