Tumbatu Island Snorkelling Tour

Snorkelling off Tumbatu, the quiet island north-west of Unguja that most visitors never reach.

Duration
1 days, 0 nights
Group
Private
Activity
4.5 to 6 hours
Starts
Zanzibar

Tumbatu sits off the north-west coast and sees a fraction of the boats that Mnemba does. The reef is good and you will often have it to yourselves.

The day is spent snorkelling in clear water over the coral, with drinks and snacks served on board between swims.

The island itself is inhabited and traditional, and visitors do not go ashore without arrangement, so this is a trip about the water rather than the village.
