Maasai Village and Turtle Experience

Maasai families have lived and worked on Zanzibar's north coast for years, and this is a chance to sit with one rather than photograph one from a car window. You hear how the community lives here, what they do and what has changed.

The second half is the natural turtle aquarium at Nungwi, a tidal lagoon where turtles bought back from fishermen or brought in injured are kept until they can be released.

You can feed them, swim with them and hear what the rehabilitation actually involves.
