Best time to go to Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti offers excellent wildlife viewing year-round. However, the best times to visit depend on what you want to see:
- December to March: Calving season, a great time to see newborns and predator activity.
- April to June: The start of the migration as herds move north.
- July to October: Peak migration season, especially around the Mara River crossings.
- November: The short rains bring the migration back to the Serengeti.
